Grapes: Touriga Nacional, Syrah and Aragonez
Winemaking/Vinification: Mechanical harvesting during the night. Total disengagement. Pre-fermentative cold maceration for 48 hours. Fermentation with controlled temperature (22ºC -28ºC) in stainless steel vats. Maceration after fermentation for 5 to 10 days. Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats with French oak staves.
Ageing: 9 months in French oak barrels and American
Aroma: Aroma of very ripe red fruits well integrated with spicy and balsamic notes.
Colour: Intense ruby with violet hues.
Tasting Notes: Good concentration, spice well present good persistence.
Food pairing: Mediterranean food in general, pasta, lamb, game dishes and soft cheeses.
