Alcohol: 14,5%

Winery: Casa Santos Lima

Grapes: Sousão and Alicante Bouschet

Region: Lisboa

Winemaking/Vinification: The destemmed grapes, passed through maceration at low temperatures before fermentation. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats with temperature control, not exceeding 26 ºC for 15 days. Malolactic fermentation.

Ageing: 16 months in oak barriques (50% of new French oak and 50% of new American oak).

Aroma: Very concentrated aromatically, with rich and fresh aromas of ripe black fruit, well balanced with chocolate notes and some spices.

Tasting Notes: Dark, opaque coloured wine, with intense shades of violet. Presents a great structure, with ripe fine tannins, providing a pleasant excellent full body and a great potential for ageing in the bottle.
